How safe is sterilization?

 Most women can safely be sterilized. But as with any medical procedure there are risks.

A possible danger is that the pipes can by itself - but that's
rare. When women become pregnant after sterilization, approximately 1 in 3 has a pregnancy that develops in a fallopian tube. This is called ectopic pregnancy. Ectopic pregnancy is serious and can be life threatening.

The signs of an ectopic pregnancy
The signs of an ectopic pregnancy are

irregular vaginal bleeding
Pain in the abdomen or the tip of the shoulder
sudden weakness or fainting
If you think you have an ectopic pregnancy and can not reach your doctor, hospital emergency rooms to go immediately.
